Grateful

Dissipation

Fleet away oh drops of rain

Draw back up to the sky

Once you were strong and destructive

Unstoppable and able to carve out any path in the torrent night

But now you have sunk in and left dry the ground

Up and away your dissipation complete both then and now

Break up you thunderhead

Scatter yet slowly into agua marine

Once you were imminent on the horizon

Obstructive and able to obscure even the light of noon day

But now you are no more and are gone below the canopy

Off and full your dissipation is complete both then and now

Lay down you blazing flame

Die now into ash and grey obscurity

Once you were unquenchable and torrid

Consuming all that was around you with fuel of finality

But now you leap up no more and smoke not

Doused and full your dissipation is complete both then and now

Cool Gesicht

Remember that fire at the Schoville Hotel?

No way to forget…but some times I do…

That was the day that everything changed for you…& for me..

It was like we both knew that our lives were going to change because of the heat of that fire..

We were saved from a sure death in that cheap room…man

I can say all these years later that it is clear..what it did to you…

I know what it did for me…

Sincerely…
